I’m delighted to announce our latest Employees of the Month.
Charmaine was nominated for encouraging the people that we support to get out and about whilst their motivation was low and in particular for supporting one of the individuals whilst in hospital.
Charlie was nominated for potentially saving the life of one the people that we support. One morning, Charlie was able to start her shift earlier than required and after getting permission from On Call to do so, found the person that she was supporting unable to breathe properly. Charlie remained calm and called 999 and stayed until they arrived.
Andy has been nominated for working tirelessly to seek accommodation for a gentleman that is transitioning. Andy has gone above and beyond for this particular gentleman; cancelling annual leave to attend meetings and continuing to promote Pioneering Independence to the MDT.
